Born in Graz, Styria, in 1981, as a lawyer and mediator, I decided to combine my personal passion with my profession after working at dbv-Verlag (a specialist publisher for tax and business law) and Anton Paar GmbH and switched to the culinary media world.
After being editor-in-chief of the gastronomy trade magazine Oscars, I took over as editor-in-chief of the trade magazine Falstaff Profi, formerly Falstaff Karriere, in 2014. The B2B sector, including current career topics, is one of my hobbyhorses. Until July 2023, I was also managing partner of Falstaff Profi GmbH and co-editor.
In addition to my consulting work, I am a moderator, speaker and also work in the field of influencer marketing.
MY FASCINATION FOR THE CULINARY MEDIA WORLD ACCOMPANIES ME THROUGHOUT MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER.
Together with my partner Heimo G. Jessenko, I have been advising hoteliers and restaurateurs for more than fifteen years, supporting them in their social media presence and dealings with the press.
Together, we develop framework programs for culinary festivals and trade fairs such as ALLES FÜR DEN GAST and INTERGASTRA, and set up influencer campaigns.
In 2015, together with my partner Heimo Jessenko, I launched the Falstaff Young Talents Cup, a unique competition to promote young talent in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Every year, the best young talents are challenged and promoted in the bar, vegetable kitchen, pâtisserie, host and kitchen categories. The development of a top-class network is a key component of this extraordinary series of events.
