Cheese crackers – low carb

Want a delicious and easy recipe for crispy cheese crackers that are also ketogenic? Then you should definitely try our recipe! These crackers are not only quick to prepare, but also rich in protein and healthy fats.

The secret to the crunchy texture and delicious taste of these crackers is the Parmesan cheese used. The high fat content and the aroma of the cheese give the crackers a unique flavour that goes perfectly with a glass of wine or as an accompaniment to a salad.

Don’t worry, the crackers don’t taste healthy at all – just incredibly delicious!

INGREDIENTS

  • 25g blanched ground almonds
  • 25g almond flour
  • 50g grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of water
  • 2 sheets of baking paper

PREPARATION

  1. Mix the almond flour, grated almonds and the Parmesan cheese in a bowl.
  2. Add the water to the cheese-almond mixture and knead the mixture until a dough begins to form.
  3. Roll out the dough on a piece of baking paper. For this place a baking paper under and over the dough. Roll the dough with a rolling pin into a wafer-thin dough.
  4. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough vertically and horizontally into diamonds.
  5. Put small holes with a toothpick.
  6. Put the crackers in the oven at 80 degrees, for about 5-10 Minutes.
  7. Take out the crackers and let cool. Then break them into the previously cut pieces.

TIP

The crackers taste great when they are coated with olive oil and with sea salt flakes or paprika powder and oregano.
