Creamy, airy and full of indulgence: Vegan chocolate mousse

Chocolate mousse is a classic dessert that melts in your mouth. This version contains no dairy products or eggs and has a deliciously airy consistency and intense chocolate flavor. Thanks to the oat drink and the special properties of chickpea water (aquafaba), the result is a wonderfully creamy, vegan mousse that is in no way inferior to classic recipes.

This dessert is ideal for special occasions or as a sweet finish to a successful meal. It is easy to prepare and tastes even better after a few hours in the fridge or overnight. Served with fresh berries and roasted almonds, it has a fruity freshness and a fine crunch.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients for 10 desserts:

  • 375 g chopped dark chocolate
  • 150 ml Arla Pro JÖRĐ oat drink
  • 60 g sugar
  • 440 ml chickpea water (aquafaba)
  • 12 ml lemon juice
  • 300 g raspberries and blackberries
  • 60 g chopped roasted almonds

PREPARATION

  1. Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath.
  2. Add the oat drink and sugar and mix well.
  3. Beat the chickpea water and lemon juice for approx. 5-6 minutes until stiff.
  4. Gradually fold in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Divide the chocolate mousse between 10 bowls and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Garnish with fresh berries and almonds before serving.
TIP

Arla Pro Oat Drink JÖRĐ is particularly suitable for creamy desserts due to its consistency.
