Puff Pastry Snails

A quick snack when guests announce themselves spontaneously, you feel like a cozy TV evening or just for in between. Delicious and quick to prepare. Puff pastry itself is very versatile and the fillings are very variable.

Baking time: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 100 g sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 100 g diced bacon
  • Parmesan
  • 1 egg yolk
  • sesame

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry.
  3. Spread the sour cream on the dough.
  4. Spread the diced bacon and grated Parmesan on the dough.
  5. Shape into a roll and cut snails about 1.5 cm wide.
  6. Place these on the baking sheet, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Bake the snails at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes until golden.
TIP

You can use Mozzarella, Gouda or Emmental depending on your taste or availability.
