Refreshment with character: Strawberry-Pistachio Espresso Tonic

A fruity, nutty coffee cocktail that provides tingling refreshment on hot days. The sweetness of strawberry nectar meets the nutty accent of pistachio, combined with strong espresso and sparkling tonic water – a sophisticated summer drink with aromatic depth.

INGREDIENTS

  • 25ml strawberry nectar
  • 10ml pistachio syrup (e.g. Monin Pistachio)
  • Double espresso (e.g. Julius Meinl Red Door Blend)
  • 200ml tonic water
  • Ice cubes

PREPARATION

  1. Prepare double espresso and allow to cool.
  2. Pour strawberry nectar and pistachio syrup into a glass.
  3. Carefully add ice cubes to the glass.
  4. Pour tonic water over the ice cubes.
  5. Then slowly pour the espresso shot over the tonic water to create two layers.
