How Healthy Are Dates Really?

Thanks to the amino acid tryptophan, these dried fruits have a calming effect on the nerves and have been used for centuries to combat insomnia. Additionally, dates help curb cravings and, due to their antioxidants, can help prevent diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases.

Which Organ Benefits From Dates?

The high fiber content in dates aids digestion and helps maintain low cholesterol levels. Moreover, our liver benefits significantly from consuming dried dates: they support the organ in detoxifying harmful substances and can even help slow the progression of liver cirrhosis.
