Zero Waste Egg Spread

The perfect solution for surplus eggs!

With just a few ingredients, we create a delicious egg spread – ideal for those who have leftover eggs and want to embrace zero waste. Often, after baking or cooking, an excess of eggs remains, and this tasty spread is the perfect solution. With mayonnaise, eggs, chives, salt, pepper, a pickle, and a bit of mustard, we quickly whip up a wonderful bread spread.

Of course, the spread can be made even when you don’t have surplus eggs. We make this delightful treat repeatedly: as an afternoon snack or when unexpected guests arrive. The egg spread almost always fits.

Eggs are not only incredibly versatile but also nutrient powerhouses. They contain high-quality proteins that provide all essential amino acids. Additionally, eggs are rich in vitamins like A, D, E, K, and B12, as well as important minerals like selenium and iron. With this recipe, you can not only make good use of leftovers but also nourish your body with valuable nutrients.
