Penne with wild garlic pesto

When it comes to Italian cuisine, there’s nothing better than a good portion of penne with homemade pesto. But this recipe has a special touch, because the pesto is made with fresh wild garlic, which I personally searched for and harvested in the woods. The combination of the intense flavours of the wild garlic and the nutty texture of the pesto gives the penne a unique flavour. This easy-to-prepare meal is perfect for a quick dinner or a meal with friends and family. Follow me on this culinary journey.

INGREDIENTS

  • Wild garlic pesto
  • Penne
  • Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • fresh wild garlic
  • daisies as decoration

PREPARATION

  1. Prepare the penne according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. In the meantime, heat some olive oil in a pan and toss the penne briefly in it.
  3. Add the wild garlic pesto and stir well.
  4. Serve the penne, garnish with fresh parmesan, wild garlic and daisies.
