Chicken Rice Dish

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 200 g rice
  • 700 ml vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp marjoram
  • 4 tbsp paprika powder
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Pepper

PREPARATION

  1. First, cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces (2×1 cm) and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Wash, core, and dice the bell peppers. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
  3. Sauté the onion and garlic in a pot with oil. Add the chicken pieces and briefly brown them on all sides. Then add the paprika powder and sauté for another 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, pour in the broth, and add the rice and bell pepper pieces. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Season generously with salt, pepper, and marjoram.
